Meet Nichole E. Gulowsen, LCSW, CCS
I help trauma survivors move out of anxiety, overwhelm, and survival mode so they can feel grounded, connected, and in control of their lives.
At Third Eye Counseling, Inc., I provide a compassionate, trauma-informed space where individuals can explore their experiences, reclaim a sense of safety, and reconnect with themselves. I believe healing isn't about erasing the past. It's about building trust in the present and moving forward with clarity and purpose.
I am a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) and certified clinical supervisor (CCS) with extensive experience supporting trauma survivors. I founded Third Eye Counseling, Inc. to create a safe, relational environment where people can cultivate self-trust, emotional resilience, and meaningful growth. I combine evidence-based approaches with a warm, client-centered style tailored to each person's unique needs.
A Relational Approach
I've always been drawn to helping people who feel "stuck" between surviving and truly living. I understand how trauma and anxiety can shape thoughts, emotions, and relationships, often leaving people feeling disconnected or uncertain. My therapeutic style blends warmth and authenticity with practical, evidence-based tools that support emotional regulation and deeper self-understanding.
People I've worked with often describe me as calm, grounding, and intuitive. They often tell me they feel seen, supported, and empowered to move forward.
An Integrative Framework
Nichole incorporates evidence-based and experiential approaches, including Traumatic Incident Reduction (TIR), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), mindfulness, and expressive arts techniques. This flexible framework allows sessions to be tailored to each client’s pace and needs, balancing insight with practical strategies for managing anxiety and trauma.
Empowering Healing
Therapy with Nichole is collaborative. Clients are encouraged to explore their inner experiences, strengthen coping skills, and reconnect with their inherent resilience. Through presence, empathy, and gentle guidance, Nichole helps individuals move beyond the weight of survival and into a space of authenticity, peace, and purpose.
